Site5 and FanSided Holiday Season Charity Drive

Hey folks just an announcement about everything we are thankful for because it’s one of the biggest holiday seasons in America. We thought we’d tell you that Site5 (http://www.site5.com/)and FanSided have joined together to sponsor the Boys and Girls Club of America! Since it’s a time for being thankful many see it as a chance to give to others and with the great support of Site5 this is all possible.

For those of you that may not know Site5 is our webhosting company and they do a fantastic job of keeping the FanSided network up to speed and ever running. Since they are our co-sponsor’s we figured we’d all join hands for the good cause that is Boys and Girls Club of America.

Our goal is to raise funds of $5000 which is very attainable so your help is much appreciated. You can go here to donate (follow link on ‘here’) and any donation is much appreciated.

And since we need to know what BGCA do here’s their mission statement to helping all kids around America become better people.

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Core Beliefs

A Boys & Girls Club Provides:

A safe place to learn and grow…

Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals…

Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences…

Hope and opportunity.

So with that let’s head over the jump to discuss what we are most thankful for…

Well I may not be American but I have to say it’s not always a bad thing to be reflective and look at what we are most thankful for. In terms of the Hornets I have to be most thankful for a few things…

  • Chris Paul is healthy and is leading his team to a winning record
  • David West is back in All-Star form
  • Marcus Thornton is a professional
  • Gary Chouest is close to purchasing the team
  • Chris Paul is actually playing for the Hornets
  • Monty Williams is a stud
  • Dell Demps is a stud
  • We have a shot at making the playoffs

So with that I ask you, what are you thankful for? Leave your comments below and let the holiday belly’s expand!
