A familiar sight...

Bulls 85, Hornets 77: Injured, But Not Out New Orleans Valiant In Loss

With Chris Paul down it was to be expected that New Orleans would lose this one. Players like David West and Emeka Okafor needed to step up, and they did not. It was others like Marco Belinelli and Jarrett Jack that put their hand forward to take charge of the game. The game was winnable, do not be fooled by that. The Hornets had it tied up at 77 with three minutes left in the fourth. They then proceeded to miss all their shots, a trademark of the team, and lost the game.

Typical Hornets basketball, can’t ask much more from them.

I’m not going to go into much detail on this one but here’s some notes.

  • A terrible 41 minutes from David West, 11 points on 17 shots, yuck.
  • Jarrett Jack and Marco Belinelli as mentioned before had solid games. Jack had 23 points on 19 points, Marco had 17 points on 12 shots and rebounded fantastically (as apart from everyone else).
  • Willie Green, yuck.

Next up is the Dallas Mavericks, have a good day y’all.
