Eric Gordon did not play against the Warriors Tuesday night and will not play in the final game of the season on Thursday. This is not very surprising considering Gordon has missed all but 9 games this season due to injuries. He missed these final games because of his bad back.
Gordon played Monday against the Clippers and lets just say his performance was sub-par. He scored 17 points on 4-of-13 FGS and managed to turn the ball over 6 times.
The Hornets do not have a playoff spot to compete for, so it could be a good idea to shut down Eric Gordon early and start focusing on next season.
With Eric Gordon becoming a restricted free agent this summer, it should be pretty interesting to see what kind of offers he receives from teams around the league.
