Eric Gordon may very well be the best free agent this year after Deron Williams. Because of the that it is almost guaranteed that the Hornets will have to match a max offer in order to retain him.
So far there have been reports of 6 teams that have Gordon on their radar and want to meet with him. ESPN’s Chris Broussard tweeted that Gordon will visit a few teams this week.
“Eric Gordon will visit Indiana Sunday, Houston Monday & Phoenix Tuesday,” tweets Broussard. “He will also meet with Portland & perhaps Charlotte & Dallas.”

Expect Gordon to receive a solid offer from one of these teams very soon. The good news is that the Hornets have said that they are ready to match any offer Gordon may receive, even if it is a max deal of 4 years, $58 million.
