The Hornets summer league team, led by Austin Rivers and Xavier Henry, lost their 2nd straight last night to the Milwaukee Bucks. The first lost came sunday against the Trail Blazers.

Rivers and Henry both had bad games last night against the Bucks as the Hornets lost 76-68. Both players only made 1 field goal the whole game, Rivers finished with 6, Henry finished with 5. Neither play played significantly well against the Trail Blazers either. Rivers went 3-13 from the field and finished with 14 while Henry was 2-7 and had 11.

Austin Rivers has been the primary ball handler for this summer league team and he could be a lot worst. Austin Rivers will probably be a great player but it seems as if he needs some time to develop to be able to play point guard in this league. Hopefully he can perform better in the next few games.

Forward Lance Thomas has been great so far. In the first game he posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. In last nights game Thomas dropped 22 points and was by far the best Hornet on the court. Look for him to continue to play well.
