Austin Rivers Has Surgery On His Right Ankle

Austin Rivers had surgery on his right ankle on Friday to clean up Bone Spurs. This is the injury that caused him to miss 3 out of 5 summer league games this past month.

I hope this isn’t a sign to come of a injury prone NBA career for Rivers. He will turn just 20 years old next week and is starting early with the surgeries. The surgery was very successful and Rivers is expected to be ready for training camp in a few months.
