2kSports continues to release player ratings for the upcoming NBA 2k13. Today, Hornets star shooting guard Eric Gordon was among the players to have their NBA 2k13 rating revealed to the twitter world. 2k Sports tweeted that Eric Gordon’s rating will be a 85 starting out. NBA 2k13 has a living roster for online players which means player ratings can drop or rise depending on their play during the real NBA season.
Despite Eric Gordon only playing in 9 games last season, 2k gave his rating a slight raise. In NBA 2k12 Gordon’s rating was a 82, giving him 3 more overall attribute points in 2k13. If Gordon can stay healthy he will definitely earn his 2k rating of a 85 and play like a star for the Hornets this year. Gordon’s rating was posted along with Manu Ginobili’s(85) & Aaron Brooks'(77).
Shooting guards rated higher than Gordon’s 85 should be Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, and Manu Ginobili. Joe Johnson and James Harden could also but a 85 or higher but they are on the fence. I am expecting James Harden to be nothing lower than a 84 but not too much higher and Joe Johnson was rated a 84 in 2k12. And I did not forget about Monta Ellis, I just would not rate him higher than a 85, if that.
So far the Hornets are looking like they will be a legitimate team in NBA 2k13 with Eric Gordon’s 85 and Anthony Davis’ 80. Unfortunately Austin Rivers was only given a 67 but he should be very athletic and have a nice jump shot. Also with good play that 67 can easily turn into a 75.
Go Follow 2k Sports on twitter, @2ksports and maybe they will reveal more Hornets player ratings.
