Ryan Anderson Makes Top 50 In #NBARank

Hornets newly acquired Ryan Anderson has just made ESPN’s top 50 in their NBA Rank. Anderson’s rank was actually #50 but it still counts. Last season with the Magic Anderson averaged 16.1 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.

I don’t think anybody expected Anderson to ever be a top 50 player in the NBA, but he sure does deserve after winning the most improved play of the year award. Such a high rank may have even surprised himself:

Anderson was a huge pickup for the Hornets this off season. According to ESPN NBA Rank, the Hornets took Gustavo Ayon #214 on NBA Rank and traded him for Ryan Anderson, #50. Seems like a good trade for the Hornets to me.

After Anderson’s ranking there is only one more Hornets player awaiting their NBA Rank, and that is Eric Gordon. Check back to see where Gordon is placed on the #NBARank
