The Hornets Are Preparing To Take on The Charlotte Bobcats, Again

The New Orleans Hornets(2-0) will be playing their 3rd pre-season game on thursday and they will face a very familiar opponent, the Charlotte Bobcats(1-1). The Hornets defeated the Bobcats on tuesday 97-82. For some reason the Hornets were scheduled to play the Bobcats twice in a row in pre-season. Playing the same team twice in a row in the pre-season will not help either team see how their team will fare against different match-ups around the league.

After 2 games Anthony Davis is leading the team in Points and Rebounds with 15 ppg & 8.5 rpg. Grevis Vasquez is the teams leading assist man with 8.5 after 2 games.

Austin Rivers has not committed a turnover in either of the first two pre-season games and is looking a lot better since dissapointing in the summer circuit.

Byron Mullens is leading the Bobcats in most points scored and rebounds with 16 ppg & 7 rpg.

I expect both teams to make adjustments for this game and this should be a much closer game than tuesdays.

Eric Gordon is expected to miss this game also as he is resting due to a sore knee.
