Austin Rivers got the start in the Hornets final preseason game despite injuring his right ankle in the game on the monday against the Mavericks. The Hornets are having a pretty good game against the defending champs Miami Heat and are winning by 2 going into the 4th quarter. At the end of the 3d quarter Austin Rivers feel very awkwardly on his right ankle and left the game. This time he was able to walk on his own into the locker room without being carried.

Rivers was having an okay game as he had 6 points and 4 assist with 0 turnovers.

More updates on Rivers’ injury will be coming soon and another MRI should be scheduled tomorrow. It seems like Rivers right ankle may become a serious problem for him but hopefully he can over come it.
