Anthony Davis will be forced to miss his second consecutive game of the season with a mild concussion. He suffered the concussion in last Fridays game against the Utah Jazz when an inadvertent Austin Rivers Elbow came flying at Davis forehead. The NBA has a strict concussion policy and requires all concussed players to undergo a very rigorous testing process to make sure no concussion symptoms re-occur. It has been said that Davis could miss more than a few games just due to the testing process.
Hornets other first round draft pick Austin Rivers will also sit out Wednesdays game. Apparently Rivers sprained his index finger in practice on Tuesday and will not play. Rivers is averaging just 6 points in 3 games on 5-25 shooting.
