New Orleans Hornets Acqurie G Matt Carroll From Charlotte Bobcats In Exchange For Hakim Warrick

The Hornets have just made their first trade of the 2012-2013 season. The Hornets are sending out Hakim Warrick to the Charlotte Bobcats for Matt Carroll.

Matt Carroll is a 32 year old, 10-year veteran out of Norte Dame. Carroll has been a role player getting limited minutes his whole career, starting in 84 games out of 459. Carroll’s best season came in 2006-2007 when he started in 47 games and averaged 12 points. Carroll has averaged 6.5 points throughout his career while shooting .384% from the 3-point line.Carroll has only appeared in one game for the Bobcats this season playing 6 minutes

Hakim Warrick was just acquired by the Hornets this off-season and did not get too much of chance to prove himself on the court. Warrick has only appeared in 3 games, playing a total of 31 minutes averaging 4.7 points and 3 rebounds.
