Lillard was the 6th overall pick and Kidd Gilchrist went 2nd.
Lillard has been playing outstanding in his first month of game in the NBA and is leading all rookies with 18.4 points per game, 5.9 assist per game, and 1.38 steals per game.
Kidd Gilchrist is averaging 10.9 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, 1.5 assist per game, 1.2 steals per game, and 1.3 blocks per game.
Hornets rookie Anthony Davis has had a tough time staying on the court so far in the season, playing in only 6 of 17 games. Im sure Davis did not qualify for any rookie of the month consideration playing in less the 50% of games. Though, in the 6 games that Davis did appear in, he averaged 16 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and 1.0 steals.
Hornets other 1st round draft pick Austin Rivers has played in all but 1 game this season and started in many. Rivers offense has been struggling so far and is averaging 6.1 points per game, 3.0 assist per game, and 2.3 assist per game.
