New Orleans Hornets Continue Losing Way, Have Lost Last 13 of 15.

The New Orleans Hornets are struggling tremendously to start off the season. So far the Hornets are 5-14 and are currently sitting in dead last in the Western Conference, 11 games behind Conference leaders San Antonio Spurs. The Hornets are currently on a 3 game losing streak after losing to the Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Hornets have already been hit by the injury bug pretty hard with Eric Gordon being out indefinitely and Anthony Davis missing the past 11 games, 13 in total so far. The absence of the Hornets two best players is becoming very noticeable on both ends of the floor.

So far Ryan Anderson is leading the team in scoring, averaging 18.4 ppg. Anderson is leading the NBA in most 3-pointers made with 64.  OJ Mayo is behind him with 58.

Grevis Vasquez has been another consistent player for the Hornets, averaging 12.4 point, 8.6 assist, and 3.4 rebounds with a Player Efficiency Rating of 14.28

The Hornets most recent loss came at the hands of the Miami Heat, 106-90. Lebron James had a typical Lebron stat line, 24 points, 7 assist, and 8 rebounds. Dwayne Wade led all scorers with 26. Ryan Anderson led the Hornets led the Hornets in scoring with 24 points. Robin Lopez played well, recording 20 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.

The Hornets will take on the Washington Wizards next in a game that can be called the battle of the worst. The Wizards are last in the Eastern Conference with a record of 2-15.
