In just his third game back Eric Gordon has been inserted into the starting line-up for the Hornets game against the Dallas Mavericks Saturday night. Gordon is coming off of a major knee injury that caused him to missed a significant amount of games, even going back into last season.
Gordon made his return on December 29th and has looked impressive. In his first game back against the Bobcats Gordon played 25 minutes scoring 24 points and dishing out 7 assist.
Though Gordon has been playing well in his return, doctors and Head Coach Monty Williams are hesitant to throw Gordon big minutes just yet. They say they will continue to ease Gordon back to action and increase his minutes game by game.
