Sacramento Kings Plan Offer For Igoudala

According to a report from ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Sacramento Kings have targeted unrestricted free agent Andre Igoudala as their offseason priority.  According to several sources, the Kings are considering offering a max contract to Igoudala.

This is pertinent to the Pelicans, because to offer Igoudala the max, the Kings would need to renounce their rights to Tyreke Evans, whom the Pelicans plan on signing to a 4 year $44-48 million dollar contract.  The Kings have already expressed a desire to retain Evans, however the magnitude of the Pelicans’ offer appears to have softened this stance.
