Sources are saying that a 3-team trade has all but cemented Tyreke Evans becoming a Pelican pending the July 10 date. The New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, and Portland Trail Blazers have all agreed to the terms of the trade that is now pending. The Pelicans would be receiving Tyreke Evans and the Trail Blazers 2013 2nd round pick center Jeff Withey from the University of Kansas. The Trail Blazers will receive Robin Lopez, who has been apart of trade rumors, and also Pelicans guard Terrell Harris. The Kings will receive guard Greivis Vasquez from the Pelicans and two future 2nd round picks from the Trail Blazers.

Last night around 10 pm Tyreke Evans had posted a tweet on twitter thanking the Kings fans for the last four years. Sources report that the Pelicans knew Evans was the right fit when he told the team that he was willing to come off the bench, joining the back court of Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon. Evans seems to be excited about the future of the Pelicans and joining the organization.
