According to various reports, the Pelicans have re-signed forward Lance Thomas. Thomas was waived in July, but after signing a two year unguaranteed deal, gains another chance to make the final roster. Thomas played 15.0 minutes per game for New Orleans as a rookie, but only saw the floor for 10.9 minutes per game last season.
Thomas will likely play a very insignificant role for an improved Pelicans team, but, in the always possible event of significant injuries, could function as a stopgap forward.
Thomas’s deal is fully un-guaranteed for the 2013-14 season and contains a team option for 2014-15.
