In the greatest upset since the Charlotte Bobcats’ last victory, Eric Gordon declared himself to be fully healthy for this season’s training camp. According to Nola.com, Gordon said, “Yeah this is the first time that I have felt very good in about two years for sure since I have been here.” While that really serves as an indictment on his career with the Pelicans, Gordon’s health gives further reason for optimism in the upcoming season. Gordon has played in only 51 games being sent to New Orleans as the centerpiece of the Los Angeles Clippers’ trade for Chris Paul.
When healthy, Gordon ranks among the best shooting guards in the league. However, this level of play has been absent in recent years as repeated injuries have prevented continuous performance.
