Pelicans Rally To Beat Cavaliers

The Pelicans have their first three-game winning streak of the year and rally from a 12 point deficit to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-100.  The Pelicans were trailing 93-81 at the 4:30 mark of the fourth quarter and they outscored the Cavaliers 23-7 the rest of the way. Eric Gordon hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 31 seconds left that lead to a Kyrie Irving drive that ended in a turnover in favor of the Pelicans as he ran into Anthony Davis. Jrue Holiday lead the way for the Pelicans in the fourth quarter by scoring 7 points and adding 5 assist and  Holiday went on to  finish the game with 15 points, 11 assists, and 3 steals. Anthony Davis added 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks while Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans both scored 19 points for New Orleans. Monty Williams earned his 100th win as a coach. The Pelicans take the weekend off and travel to San Antonio to face the 11-1 Spurs on Monday. The Pelicans are now back to .500 at 6-6 on the season.
