Daily Debriefings for June 8, 2014: Game Two

Tonight we finally (hopefully) move on from talking about cramps and legacies and move into talking about basketball and another great game when the Spurs and Heat play Game Two of the NBA Finals. Judging by the moments when everyone was on the court in Game One it seems likely we are destined for anther great game in the series between these two teams. So here is some stuff to read to hold you over until tip:

Game One Recap: If you haven’t already make sure to check out the always wonderful Zach Lowe on what he saw during the first game of the series. It seems likely we will see some of the same things or some adjustments based on them tonight in Game Two.

Not so Super Nintendo: For the Heat to win Game Two and probably the series they are going to need to get better production from Mario Chalmers.

Defending the Undefendable: Couper Moorhead on how the Spurs defended LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Game One. Will be very interesting to see if they change anything for Game Two and beyond.

A Blank Canvas: Moving away from Game Two and the NBA Finals, the Pelicans ranked 29th in the NBA last year in percentage of players with a tattoo. Ethan Swan explains what he learned about tracking ink.

Eurocamp: While the NBA Finals gets ready to tip off in the US, international draft prospects are working out at adidas Eurocamp in Italy. A quick breakdown of day one.

Pelicans Poll: Remember to vote in the Pelican Debrief poll on Pierre Jackson that can be found here.

Hope you all enjoy Game Two tonight and see you back here tomorrow.
