Daily Debriefings for Tuesday June, 10 2014: Game Three

Here we go again. Tonight marks Game Three of what has so far been a terrific NBA Finals. Can the Spurs bounce back from a loss and take a game in Miami or will LeBron prove too much like he has when he has been on the floor in the first two games. I can’t wait to find the answer. So here are some links to hold you over until tip at 8 pm CT.

More on LeBron’s Game Two Response: I’m not sure that LeBron can do anything in Game Three that would be more impressive than what he did in Game Two but we will find out tonight. Before then Paul Flannery looks back on that Game Two response to critics.

The Knicks Went Fishing: Derek Fisher is now an NBA head coach thanks to the Knicks. Some takes on the matter: First from Buckets Over Broadway, then from Seth Rosenthal at Posting and Toasting.

The Lakers are Adorable: Sam Amick of USA Today is reporting that the Lakers are delaying hiring a coach in hopes of landing LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony. I kind of hope this makes LeBron angry so he goes out and scores like 50 in Game Three because people think he would leave for LA.

Big Shot Bosh: Over at the Cauldron Jordan White wrote maybe my favorite piece ever on one of my favorite players, Chris Bosh. If Miami wants to win Game Three and this series they need Bosh to be Bosh and luckily for them there is no doubt he will be.

Pelicans Improvements: As the NBA Finals go on to Game Three and beyond the Pelicans are gathered in New Orleans working on their games. Two more profiles on that come from Jim Eichenhofer. First on Dave Hanners and his work with Jrue Holiday and Anthony Morrow and second on Kevin Hanson and his work with Anthony Davis and Jeff Withey.
