Pass One:

On this play Smith attacked the D-League defense out of the pick-and-roll and drew three defenders to him. Smith did a perfect job of making defenders commit to him before stopping just short of being in trouble and tossing a pass to Josh Howard in the corner. Howard had a decent look at a corner three on the play but instead drove past a hard close out and fed Jeff Withey for a dunk but the ability of Smith to find a corner three, arguably the best non-dunk or lay-up shot in basketball, is a great sign.
