Russ Smith Answers Fan's Questions on Reddit AMA

Today marked the 2014 NBA Rookie photo shoot where the newest rookie class gathered to get pictures taken for NBA trading cards and more and entertained fans throughout the day with Vines and a Reddit ask me anything. The Pelicans were represented at the event by Russ Smith and below are his answers during the AMA event for those who don’t want to sort through all the comments. (For those who do want to read the entire thing it can be found here. )

Q: What were your favorite class you took in college?

Russ: Communications classes were my favorite. Learn to do video production was very cool.

Q: What would you guess your 2k rating to be?

Russ: Hopefully it’s between 70-75

Q: What is your go-to meal the night before a game?

Russ: Anything. I’ll eat anything.

Q: What is the biggest thing you miss about college?

Russ: My teammates and the fans. All the success we had in college.

Q: Which teammate are you most looking forward to being on the court with?

Russ: Anthony Davis. He’s a great player and one of the guys I look up to.

Q: If you weren’t playing professional basketball, what would you be doing?

Russ: Probably acting or being a sports analyst.

While there wasn’t anything particularly enlightening in Smith’s answers it is always nice when players get involved in things like this and become more accessible to the fans. Smith also was involved in a few vines today, once as a passer for a dunk and second showing off his handles.
