New Orleans Pelicans Grades: Pelicans lose to Heat

facebooktwitterreddit

The New Orleans Pelicans were not able to replicate the surprising success they had against the Clippers, and they fell to the Miami Heat in New Orleans on Tuesday night.

The New Orleans Pelicans are simply not talented enough to contend with a team like the Miami Heat at this point, and it was clear for the majority of the game. The Pelicans were able to stick around due to some enthusiastic play, but the Heat were able to fend off their advances and take home the win. Luke Babbitt surprised many by scoring in volume, but the rest of the team was not able to carry their weight on the offensive end.

A+. Luke Babbitt filled up in this one and finished with 23 points and four rebounds. He was forced to sit for a while, limiting his ability to increase his totals late, but he was the brightest spot for the Pelicans on offense all night. He gave fans something to root for, and that was definitely a positive.. SF. New Orleans Pelicans. LUKE BABBITT
