ESPN and their affiliated TrueHoop Network has been ranking every player in the NBA starting with Eddy Curry at #500.

Anthony Davis was most recently ranked and he was deemed #62. This is pretty impressive for a player to be ranked this high before playing in a single game in the NBA and after 1 season in college.

[blackbirdpie url="https://twitter.com/NBAonESPN/status/246707543777357824"]

Davis was ranked in between Brandon Jennings (61) and Nicolas Batum (63). To put in perspective how high 62 is here are other players ranked below Davis, Ray Allen (64), Carlos Boozer (67), Luis Scola (68), Tyreek Evans (69), and Gerald Wallace (70).

The only other Hornets players that have yet to be ranked are Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson. After Davis the next highest ranked player on the team is Robin Lopez at 169. After Lopez is Grevis Vasquez (224), Al Fariq-Aminu (258), Jason Smith (261), Hakim Warrick (272), Austin Rivers (285), Xavier Henry (328), Darius Miller (425), and Lance Thomas (452).

Based off these player rankings the Hornets will be ranked pretty low as a team overall, but at least we have Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon to look forward too.
