Due to a stress fracture in his ankle, Len will not be able to engage in physical activity, but will undergo an interview process with team executives.  Burke and Carter-Williams are generally considered the top rated point guard prospects.

After choosing not to extend a qualifying offer to small-forward Al-Faroq Aminu, the Pelicans may be looking to add talent to the wing.  To, clarify, the Pelicans are stikk capable of re-signing Aminu.  For future work-outs, I would expect the Pelicans to bring in some wing prospects such as Otto Porter, Victor Oladipo, and Shabazz Muhammed.  Oladipo and Porter are expected to be chosen prior to New Orleans’ 6^th pick, but expect the Pelicans to fully scout any prospective picks.

Of the seven mock drafts reviewed, four had the Pelicans passing on Trey Burke, one, CBS Sports (Gary Parrish), projected Burke to be selected prior to the 6^th pick.  If he is available come the 6^th pick, New Orleans’ decision to pick or pass on Burke could reveal the teams’ perception of incumbent starting point guard Greivis Vasquez.

Little is truly known of the Pelicans’ draft plans.  Their selection is obviously dependent on the actions of teams picking earlier in the draft.  The Pelicans have not yet officially announced plans to work out any players, though it was reported that University of Michigan point guard Trey Burke is scheduled for an individual work out on Friday, June 14^th.
