]]> The New Orleans Hornets finally pull out a win after dropping 7 straight. The Los Angeles Clippers pose as now easy match-up, especially for a shorthanded Hornets team without Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis.

Grevis Vasquez led the Hornets to victory Monday night. Vasquez finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assist. Vasquez knocked down 5 3-pointers and was rolling offensively. Ryan Anderson and Jason Smith both chipped in 17 points each. Anderson also made 5 3-pointers and is currently leading the NBA in made 3-pointers with 24 on the season. Austin Rivers had his best offense game of his NBA career. Rivers tied his career highs in points  (14) and assist (6).

The Hornets held Blake Griffin to a career low four points and six rebounds in Monday nights game. Griffin was clearly struggling as he was 1-9 shooting in 35 minutes, and to top it off he fouled out with just over 2 minutes left in the game. In 173 games in his NBA career, Griffin has scored in double-digits all but 3 time, now 4.

Caron Butler played well for the Clippers. Butler finished with 33 points and 6 rebounds. Former Hornet Chris Paul also also had a good game with 20 points and 8 assist.
