3. The Re-Signing of Eric Gordon

I know, I know, a lot of people may be wondering how re-signing Eric Gordon could have been a good thing for the Hornets and he still has yet to play in a game. Well when Eric Gordon does come back, and he will(they always do), he will bring the Hornets a dominant scoring presence that only a few can guard. Gordon signed a max contract worth $58 million over 4 years. Gordon is an all-star talent when healthy and deserves that contract. He just needs to hurry up and get back out there to prove his worth, but Gordon will be a cornerstone in the New Orleans Hornets franchise for at least a few years.
