Russdiculous: A Look At Russ Smith’s Ecouraging Passing

Pass Three: 

Another pre-pass picture here that comes after Smith caught a pass in the corner, pump faked a defender into the air and took a dribble to the short corner. Once there Smith again forced a defender to commit to him and instead of forcing a quick shot waited for James Southerland to roll down the lane into the space occupied by the defender now closing out at him (the one the red line is pointing too). Smith tossed a nice bounce pass right at the perfect spot for the rolling Southerland who dunked home the basket.
