With the New Orleans Pelicans loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night the team officially moved past the 1/4 mark of the NBA season at 10-11. Things haven’t gone right very often for the Pelicans this year for a multitude of reasons from injury to just plain bad luck.

Anthony Davis has emerged into a bona-fide yearly MVP candidate and is currently in the top five in the league in points, steals, blocks and rebounds per game to lead the Pelicans. Tyreke Evans has been a force and home and recently Jrue Holiday has started to up his aggressiveness, and resemble more and more the player the Pelicans thought they were getting when they made the trade to acquire him.

On the other side of things Eric Gordon has been injured again with a torn labrum in his left shoulder, Tyreke Evans stinks on the road and Austin Rivers hasn’t been as good as some hoped coming into the season.

With all of that in mind Andrew, Chris, Matt C and Rick got together and took a look back at the first quarter of the season and answered a few questions about both the players and team going forward. As always feel free to answer any question in the comments below.
