Austin (@apete1993): Baron Davis

Baron Davis was with the team in Charlotte during their transition to New Orleans, but had a brief stay in New Orleans before being traded to the Warriors in the middle of the 04-05 season.

Davis never quite played a full season in NOLA, appearing at most 67 games in a season. In the 2003-2004 season Davis was selected to the second of his two All-Star games and averaged his career best 22.9 points per game while also leading the league in the steals.

Even though he was traded in the middle of his third season with the then Hornets franchise during his first two seasons in New Orleans, Davis helped the Hornets reach the playoffs by averaging 19.1 points and 7.6 assists per game.

Davis was without a doubt the best player for the team once they moved to New Orleans, and helped lay the foundation for the beginning of the new franchise.
