Which Player Was the Easiest Choice to Put On Your Team?

Austin (@apete1993): Chris Paul. He is one of the league’s best players in the game today and had a good chunk of that success in New Orleans.

Brendon (@zimmerguy4): Chris Paul. He meant more to this team and city than few others ever have. He led the franchise to its highest highs, ones it has yet to reach since.

Nathan (@NathanHeck22): I’m going to be super unoriginal and pick Chris Paul. I firmly believe that he is the main reason New Orleans has a team today.

Rick (@RickStoneNBA):  Chris Paul. There just isn’t another player at the point guard spot that comes close to matching what Chris Paul did for the team.

Matt (@Matt_Cianfrone): When I first started to think about these teams I had three players that were without a doubt going to be on the team in Chris Paul, Anthony Davis and David West. That said, Paul is the clear answer here. Talent wise he is arguably the best player to play for the franchise since they have been in New Orleans (though Anthony Davis will soon be taking over that spot), and the way he clicked with and embraced the city cannot be overstated.

Sure things ended badly for CP3 in New Orleans but that wasn’t really his fault, and holding that against him would be foolish. At the end of the day basketball is still in New Orleans for Anthony Davis in large part because of Chris Paul which makes it impossible for me to take any other player as the easiest person to put on my roster.
