Most people have the combination of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis as the best three players in the world. Rank them.

Austin (@apete1993): LeBron is clearly the best player in the world and it really isn’t even up for debate. Given his recent health problems, Durant really isn’t going to be in a top three discussion for me. I hate these types of arguments and rankings because they are pretty pointless, but I would go LeBron, Anthony Davis, and Steph Curry in order for top three. I’m high on AD this year. I’m expecting big things from him.

Nathan (@nathanheck22): It may be a homer pick, and I’m 100% okay with it. In order, I have Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Anthony Davis is an absolute animal on the court, and he is the most physically dominant at this point. When you look at skills, I also have him ahead of the other two. Would you believe it if I said that Anthony Davis shot more efficiently than LeBron James at every distance except from three last season? Because he did. Davis also had a higher PER and net offensive/defensive rating. That’s absolutely ridiculous considering that LeBron is one of the best players in the history of the game and still in his prime. The reason why I’m so confident about Davis being the best player in the world, though, is because he will be even better this season.

Brendon (@zimmerguy4): Kevin Durant’s scary health problems are the issue now. He was cemented as next in line for the throne before last season, but as LeBron maintained his terrifying reign as point God and AD challenged decades-old records held by some dudes named Kareem and Wilt, KD lost that designation. For me, it goes LeBron, Davis, Durant heading into this year, with Durant honestly only holding onto the three spot by a thread if Curry continues to etch his name into record books and Harden keeps up the work on the defensive end.

Rick (@RickStoneNBA): LeBron, then KD, then Anthony Davis. But that’s not saying that Davis can not pass either of them in the near future. MVP is who does the most for their team. Looking at what the Cavs dial-up every night, LeBron is that team. He does everything. Kevin Durant is such a lethal weapon that anything less than a double team is bound to be exploited. Anthony Davis is a defensive monster, yet a little more work needs to be put into both sides of his game to reach the level of the best in the world. He’s very, very, very close, but not there yet.

Matt (@Matt_Cianfrone): LeBron, AD, KD. I think the gap between Durant and Davis is closer than many Pelicans fans realize but we need to see Durant return to his previous form before I feel safe saying he is above AD. LeBron is still the king though, as we saw in the NBA Finals. No player in the world can make the type of impact that LeBron can in such a variety of ways, though, AD may take a step that way this season.
