The New Orleans Pelicans may have a variety of options at the sixth slot in the upcoming NBA Draft. As a collective, the Pelican Debrief staff ranked their top five prospects.

Finally, the NBA Draft is less than a week away, and Pelican Debrief has done its best to cover as many different draft scenarios as possible for the New Orleans Pelicans. With so many potential positive situations, it has not been clear how the Pelican Debrief staff feels about the draft order.

In an effort to provide clarity as to how the staff of Pelican Debrief values the prospects potentially available to the Pelicans with the sixth pick, each member ranked their top five prospects in order. To put the lists together, each prospect was awarded a number between one and five corresponding with how each writer ranked them. The lower the number, the higher the staff values the talent.

Without further ado, here is the Pelican Debrief draft board. Please note, Brandon Ingram and Ben Simmons are not included because it is nearly impossible for the Pelicans to have an opportunity to select either.

Other players receiving votes: Deyonta Davis, Jakob Poeltl and Marquese Chriss.

Next: Can the Pelicans make a bad pick?

The top three finishers in the Pelican Debrief voting were separated by a margin of just seven points, and the entire staff would likely be happy with any of those prospects. With the draft just around the corner and Jamal Murray now slotted at number six in multiple mock drafts, there is plenty to be excited about.
