The Former Musketeer
Crawford’s spectacular one year career at Xavier culminated itself in a sweet sixteen finale with the then #2 seed Kansas Jayhawks. Widely viewed as the game of the year, Crawford dropped 32 in the Double OT thriller.
Crawford saw his name on a Third Team All American (the first since David West….), after assembling the fourth greatest scoring season in Xavier’s history. He averaged 21 points on a game on 46 percent shooting from the field and a scorching 39 percent from three point range.
Crawford led the Atlantic 10 in scoring and earned a spot on the NCAA Tournament All West Region five man squad, after scoring 27, 28, and 32 in his three tournament appearances.
