The best bigs to ever step on the court together, Tim Duncan and David Robinson went .500 through their first 20 games together (sound familiar?) and then just kept winning. By the time David Robinson retired, the defensively incomparable couple had won the Spurs 438 games in just 634 tries.

Duncan was an immediate success in the NBA while Robinson was right in the middle/tail end of his prime when the two joined forces they are the players that started the culture of winning for a franchise previously devoid of such. The Spurs have been winning ever since these two were placed next to each other in the lineup.

This is the frontcourt that all frontcourts should look to as the gold standard of big men duos. What is quietly exciting about this is that Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins statistics are not too far off from the two legends.

Stats do not tell the whole story but they make the picture a little clearer. Cousins and Davis are uniquely talented. All of the frontcourts on this list are attainable because of that. It will be up to the Pelicans, Boogie and the Brow to realize their full potential.
