If you’re going to pick a player to compare Jrue to, it has to be a defensive player. With Jrue’s position change, former Saint Malcolm Jenkins would have been a perfect pick. Unfortunately, he’s no longer on the team and we went with Kenny.

Both Holiday and Vaccaro were brought into New Orleans as potential staples for both franchises. Inconsistent play by both brought questions about if either should be on the team long term. For Vaccaro trade rumors swirled, for Holiday his contract extension was questioned.

Both players still remain important pieces and with some patience, have shown why they’re essential to both teams’ overall success. They’ll always give head scratching performances but, when used in situations that take advantage of their strengths, both can make a difference.
