1. Anthony Davis: A-

NEW ORLEANS, LA – MARCH 03: Anthony Davis
NEW ORLEANS, LA – MARCH 03: Anthony Davis /

Who knew that it was possible that Anthony Davis could improve on his fantastic 2016-2017 with an even more impressive 2017-2018? Despite putting up slightly lower per game numbers, Anthony Davis‘s efficiency is through the roof.

He is one of just five players in the NBA with a 60% true shooting percentage and 25 points per game, being the only big man, and has put up substantial career highs in field goal percentage, three-point percentage and true shooting percentage.

The only reason this ‘A-‘ is not an ‘A’ is because his defense, while posting solid numbers on that side of the ball, has not improved since last season. An ‘A’ is a perfect score and, while I wish to say he is the epitome of perfection, Davis still has a few things in his bag of tricks that needs some tweaking.
