Saturday, March 18th, New Orleans Pelicans versus Boston Celtics.

This is the second game of a back-to-back that features two of the top teams in the NBA for the New Orleans Pelicans. The first meeting between these two was a 116-113 win in overtime for the Pelicans. Anthony Davis was magnificent in this contest scoring 45 points and 16 rebounds.

The Celtics are led by former Cleveland Cavalier Kyrie Irving, who is trying to create his own legacy in Boston. Boston is one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. They only allow 99 points a game which ranks them second overall in the league.

However, like so many teams in the NBA, they’ll have trouble in the paint guarding Davis. However, coming off of a tough game against Houston, you can’t help but wonder if the Pelicans will be fatigued in this matchup.

This matchup doesn’t have a lot of ramifications if the Pelican lose. They could lose their playoff seeding if they haven’t already by this time. Still, this game will be fun to watch with Kyrie Irving, who is one of the NBA’s most elite guards. Of course, Rajon Rondo will likely want to beat the Celtics.
