Friday, March 30th, New Orleans Pelicans versus Cleveland Cavaliers.
The new-look Cavs are already the most likely team to reach the NBA Finals from the Eastern Conference following the trade deadline. Cleveland, now with George Hill, Rodney Hood, Larry Nance Jr. and Jordan Clarkson look scary good. So good, that the Pelicans will have to work hard to hang with the Cavs let alone beat them.
Lebron James and company will surely be on their A game as James usually is. With a happy James and solid Cleveland rotation, you can expect for this game to rest solely on the shoulders of Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday. This game, like the Boston game, only matters with the win or loss. That and the Challenge of beating a driven Cleveland team in their gym.
This will be the second meeting between these two teams. New Orleans won the first match 123-101 on October 28th. However, a lot has changed with both teams since then. This game will likely result in a loss for the Pelicans. The question is: Can they make it a respectable loss?
