What to Know About the Pelicans Newest Acquisition

On February 20th, Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania reported that the New Orleans Pelicans had signed the G-League’s Fort Wayne Mad Ants point guard, Walt Lemon to a ten-day contract. In 36 games, Lemon has averaged 22.7 PPG, 4.6 APG and 5.9 RPG for the Mad Ants, who have gone 21 and 15 so far in the season. The Pelicans signed Lemon to improve the team’s terrible backup guard situation, by hopefully providing NOLA with playmaking and energy.
