For those confused about why I would give the Pelicans an ‘A’ grade, despite putting up a better record during last term’s ‘A-,’ the Pelicans have simply played better this term. They put up a fifth in the league 5.4 net-rating, compared to last term’s 1.2. Their defense has been suffocating, with the fifth best D-Rating in the league. This was a terrific way for the Pelicans to end their regular season.

School’s out for the New Orleans Pelicans, and now its time for university. Hopefully, the Pels can make some noise.
