#13. Miami Heat: Grant Williams, F

School: Tennessee | Class: Junior | Height: 6’7″ | Weight: 241 | Age: 20

The Miami Heat just need some players that can put the ball in the hoop. They don’t really have a go-to guy that can take over the game and go get a bucket whenever he needs to. Josh Richardson has tried his best in this regard for Miami, but he definitely could use some help in South Beach.

You’d be hard pressed to find another player available in the draft from this point on that is a more decorated athlete than Tennessee’s Grant Williams. He’s a two time defending SEC player of the year. He’s made an All-SEC team in all three of his years playing college ball. He’s done all of this while averaging double figures in scoring all three seasons, topping out at nearly 19 points per game in 2018-2019.

Guys that are already in their twenties can sometimes drop in the NBA Draft rankings, but that’s everyone else’s loss. Whoever can overlook the fact that he’s two full years older than many other players in the draft could end up with a total steal in Grant Williams. #13 is higher than what some people rank him on their respective boards, but the Miami Heat could have a lot to gain by adding a guy like Grant to their offense.
