#24: Philadelphia 76ers: Kevin Porter Jr., G

School: Southern California | Class: Freshman | Height: 6’6″ | Weight: 217 | Age: 18

Athletic guys with the right body type to have success in the pros always find their way to the NBA one way or another as teams salivate over the type of asset they could turn into with the right system, coaching, and development trajectory over their impressionable first few seasons on an NBA team.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, freshman guard out of USC, Kevin Porter Jr., could be a project worth taking on. At 6’6,” he’s got plenty of impressive size at the guard position, and he’s got tons of athleticism to go around. He’s a good enough shooter, and he’s got the size to become a strong all-around player on any team with the right vision for him.

Philly has turned into one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference over the last couple of seasons, but they’ll have some questions going into this summer as Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris both hit free agency. If they lose one or both of these players, Porter Jr. could come in and help make up for some of the length and athleticism these other two could leave behind.

Either way, Kevin Porter Jr. could hear his name read off by Adam Silver anywhere in the twenties in this NBA Draft.
