Marco Belinelli has had some quality stops during his career as a sharpshooter that can fill it up on the wing. The Hornets were one of the European star’s more productive stops back in 2010. He was traded by the Toronto Raptors to New Orleans during the 2010 NBA offseason for Julian Wright after just 66 games in a Raptors uniform.

Belinelli appeared in 80 games (69 starts) for the Hornets during the 2010-11 NBA season, averaging 10.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists on 41.4 percent from 3-point range on the season. He ranked 17th in the NBA that year in 3-pointers made and 19th in 3-point field goal percentage, while making 1.7 3-pointers per game that year.

It was also the year Belinelli made his debut appearance in the NBA Playoffs. Through six games, he averaged 9.7 points per game, an experience that would come in handy a few seasons later in his career.

The following season, he appeared in 66 games, starting in 55 of them, while producing 11.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest. He shot 37.7 percent from behind the arc on 1.6 made shots from 3-point land. Belinelli ranked 16th in the league in 3-pointers made (107) as well.

He made a career-high seven 3-pointers on 7-of-11 (63.6 percent) shooting from 3-point range back on March 29, 2012, against the Portland Trail Blazers. Following the 2011-12 NBA season, he signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bulls, ending his run in New Orleans.
