Ryan Anderson was a sharpshooting forward in the rotation alongside Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday during his time with the Hornets/Pelicans.

Anderson moved around a bit during his first few seasons in the NBA. He was drafted by the then-New Jersey Nets with the No. 21 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley.

He was traded to the Orlando Magic during the 2009 NBA offseason. After three seasons with the Magic, he was traded to New Orleans during the 2012 NBA offseason.

Anderson appeared in 81 games his first year (2012-13) with the Hornets, averaging 16.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He shot 38.2 percent from 3-point land and made 2.6 shots from behind the arc as a primary reserve off the bench.

By his third season, Anderson and company were 45-37 in the Western Conference and their first appearance in the postseason in three years. He produced 13.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game on 36.6 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Anderson made a total of 533 3-pointers as a member of the New Orleans franchise, ranking second all-time among franchise leaders. Following the 2015-16 campaign, he left the Pelicans, signing a multi-year deal with the Houston Rockets.

Through 230 appearances, mostly as a reserve, Anderson produced 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, while shooting 37.1 percent from 3-point land and averaging 2.3 makes from behind the arc.
