Pelicans Rumors: 4 trade options for the 4th pick

The Pacers’ center enjoyed a solid year with 13/7/1 on 48.7% shooting from the field and 38.8% from beyond the three-point line. But that’s just scratching the surface on his game. He led the league in blocks this past season and finished 6th in the NBA in steals from the center position.

His addition would create one of the scariest defensive tandems in the NBA. Likewise, he’s no slouch on the offensive end. Last year, Turner had an eFG% of 53.6 percent and shot 73.6 percent from the line so the fear of not being able to play him late is alleviated.

He’s not the best of rebounders, but with Williamson, and either Zo or Ingram depending on who departs in this hypothetical, that’s compensated for. The Pelicans have been horrid defensively this past couple of seasons, Turner would definitely aid in that regard. If the Pacers are willing to play ball, this would be a fantastic acquisition.

The Atlanta Hawks draft packages and Kevin Huerter, Guard.

It’s no secret that the Atlanta Hawks have the desire to move up in the draft.

This may not have the same appeal as the other listed trades, but it’s still an avenue to explore. So what could the Hawks potentially give the Pelicans? Well, for the most part, further draft capital. This trade could result in the 8th and 10th selection, or the Hawks could provide draft assets in the near future.

Maybe they trade their 17th and a player like Kevin Huerter. There’s a good amount of substance and possibilities here, what do you guys think? Who should the Pels do business with?
