Houston Rockets:

Entering this year’s free agency period, it was next to impossible for the Rockets to make a significant splash. Stuck in the confines of Chris Paul‘s contract who also reportedly may or may not be content with the organization—the situation is beginning to turn bleak.

Their window is closing quickly, Clint Capela was made available in trade talks but no deal was made. They still have their MLE, so it’ll be interesting to see how the team utilizes it. They’re still a very good team that’s capable of a deep playoff run, but this offseason didn’t help them get over the hump and expedited lingering chemistry issues.
