Games against the Los Angeles Lakers will be the most expensive tickets in town.

#3 Los Angeles Lakers

Home: November 27th, March 1st

Away: @ Los Angeles January 3rd, February 25th

Coming in at #3 on the list is not the toughest outing the season but probably one of the most anticipated matchups this season: New Orleans Pelicans versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The hype of the matchup between these two teams is so high that all 4 games are on national television with 3 on ESPN and 1 on TNT. That’s huge for the New Orleans Pelicans and Zion Williamson: major national exposure.

Also, huge expectations for a young team to live up to. But also the settlement of the long, drawn-out, ugly Anthony Davis trade saga that sent Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers and sent Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and a haul of picks. It’ll be the showcase of the current ‘Best Player in the World’ in LeBron James against the player that could one day take that title in Zion Williamson.

Anthony Davis’ return to New Orleans will probably be a 70-30 jeer-to-cheer ratio just because of the nature of how everything went down. The young former Lakers will also be looking for their chance to prove that the Laker organization messed up moving off the young core for Davis and a bunch of veterans and how much they’ve grown.

The animosity between these two teams will be on full display on national TV this season for everyone to see and if you aren’t tuning in to see this heated contest between the young growing team and another top betting odds title favorite, I can’t help you. This is must-see basketball at it’s finest.
